About Us

We are a family of four, myself (as seen on the photo below with my two sons), my husband and Jason (my oldest) and Ethan (my baby). We first visited Newfoundland in May of 2013, and for me it was like coming home. I am from Sweden originally and Newfoundland has all the beauty I remember from back home. Plus tons of Partridge berries or as we call it in Sweden "Lingon berries". Needless to say, I fell in love with the place! The wild beauty of Gros Morne is like nothing else on earth (and I have seen quite a few places around the world) and the warmth of the people is....well, heart-warming. I hope you will find your stay with us and your experience of Gros Morne as wonderful and exciting as we did!

About Bayview Heights

The cottage has 2 bedrooms and livingroom/kitchen (open concept). It is very spacious and roomy. One of the sofas in the living room is a pull-out, and can sleep 2 people/children.

At the moment there is no internet(wifi or cable/satelite will be added for the 2017 season)but there is a TV where you can play DVD's ( there are a bunch of movies to choose from) in the house. This is a place where you can really get away from it all.

The cottage offers a full kitchen with all the appliances you might expect (no dishwasher however). There is laundry facility in the basement (door at the end of the hallway), there you will also find a patio set for your use on the deck.

There is a BBQ in one of the storage units on the deck. If there is no propane please let us know!

You can make use of the firepit on the lawn if you feel like roasted marshmellows one evening.
